Unemployed and living with his parents, amateur vlogger Jax (DENNIS PETERS) hits rock bottom when his girlfriend breaks up with him. It looks like things might be turning around when he receives his first sponsorship opportunity from an unexpected source: a self-help company. The company offers him a 5-week program, during which they’ll send him inspirational notes and weekly gifts. At the end of the five weeks, he’ll use the gifts to create a final project that promises to change his life forever. But as Jax allows himself to get swept up in the allure of self-help rhetoric, he begins making decisions that lead him down a path much darker than he could have imagined.
